CN Pro maintains a
comprehensive log of all the users’ actions, as can be seen from the above
sections on reporting. Over time, the reports can become time consuming to run
given the amount of data to process.
To prevent this, CN Pro
provides a means of archiving the current data. Reports can still be run against
this archived data at a later stage. Archiving should be performed on a regular
basis to prevent the reports from running slowly.
To archive the data,
select Manage Archives from the Reports menu. The Manage Archives page will open (Figure 9.22).

To create a new archive
from the current data, simply click on Archive
Current Data. A warning that the proxy will stop accepting requests whilst
the archive is generated will be displayed, and an option to abort the archive creation
will be offered.
To delete old archives
that are no longer required, tick the box next to the archives to be deleted
and click the Delete Selected button.
Deleting unwanted archives will reduce the overall database size.
