Selecting the IP
Blocking Method from the Configuration Sub-menu will display the following
dialogue, as shown in figure 4.14

We recommend that
you leave this setting at its default.
This is because otherwise users may discover the IP address of an
otherwise blocked site and visit it that way.
For specific numeric sites that your users need to access, you can add
an entry to the Custom URL Filter or the Filter Bypass or, if they are on your
local network, you should put them in your browser’s “Do not use proxy for…”
settings.
If you do set this
option to “Allow IP addresses” then bear in mind that your users may well
circumvent the CensorNet’s security.
