The IP Address Import page has a number of options to choose from:

IP Range can be used for workstations that do not lie on a subnet boundary. For example, choose 192.168.13.1 through to 192.168.13.250.

Subnet can be used to specify an entire subnet. Entering the values 192.168.13.0 for the address, and 255.255.255.0 for the netmask will scan for all workstations with the IP address 192.168.13.x.

Resolve NetBIOS Hostnames This is the default option and will probe the network for Windows machines (and anything else that will give out a NetBIOS name). Anything not giving out a name will be ignored.

Uncheck this option for either range or subnet selections means that CN Pro will simply fill in an entry for each workstation that falls within the specified range/subnet. The names of the workstations will be set to match the IP address.
