When you select the Network Configuration menu item, you will be presented with a display similar to the following (figure 11.6).

As you can see, the system shows the current configuration of the network. The IP Address Settings item allows you to modify the IP address and Netmask (figure 11.7).

The above picture only shows an eth0 card. If the system detects multiple cards in your system, you will have the opportunity to set the IP address and Netmask of each one. Selecting one of the cards brings up a display similar to the following (figure 11.8).

We recommend that you put the CensorNet on a static (fixed) IP address. If you do choose the dhcp option, the system will obtain an IP address from any DHCP server you happen to have. DO NOT use this option if you are logged in from a Putty window as you will almost certainly loose connectivity. Figure 11.9 shows the entry of an address and netmask if you choose the static method.
