Like the File Extension Filter, the MIME Type Filter only allows for specific
MIME types to be made available for selection within policies. Actual blocking
or unblocking of an MIME type is done in the policy itself. Figure 8.11 shows
the MIME Types page.

To add a new MIME
type, simply enter it in the box and click Add.
To delete one, select its check box and click Delete Selected.

Note Adding an MIME type in this page does NOT automatically block files associated with the MIME type, it
just makes it available for selection when creating or editing a policy. |
